Resin

Inlay/ table top

This treatment is most often used as restoration for cavities, which they  have usually not progressed into more extensive tooth decay. Inlays are  recommended for medium or large size, that involve more than two walls of the tooth. Inlays are a single piece that rebuilds the tooth completely. For this treatment two appointments will be necessary, in the first appointment the tooth preparation is made and an impression is taken to develop exact placement and measurements., in the meantime a provisional material is placed. For the second appointment, the inlay that was previously prepared by the dental laboratory is cemented. Both visits require dental anesthesia. Inlays are made of different  materials such as resin or ceramic, depending on the case that’s the material that will be chosen.

Time: 2 visits, 1 hour each.
Cost: ceramic $550 usd / resin $400 usd

On the second visit the final crown previously prepared and made by the dental laboratory is cemented. For this procedure it is necessary to use anesthesia.
